New waste and water management structures

The mandate awarded to Groupe Alphard consisted in the provision of personnel to Golder Associates to work alongside their team in quality control, quality assurance and project management roles for the construction of new tailings and waste water management structures at Lac Bloom mine, Fermont.
Construction works included the construction of trenches, berms, water retention basins and ditches. A range of natural and geosynthetics materials were used in the construction of these structures, with construction completed in autumn-winter 2017.
